 Thanks to our new kitchen table we’re having fun playing tic-tac-toe over breakfast. It screamed for paint. . . but what color? I wanted black so I decided I would give chalkboard paint a try. It was an incredible weekend complete with tennis, sunshine, delectable meals every day, egg hunts, incredible Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday services, and fabulous company. I remembered the sauce being heavenly, with a velvety texture and packed with flavors. And since I just made it the night before last, I know it really does taste as good as [...] My kitchen never felt clean when I got done cleaning it. Maybe it had to do with the fine layer of grime dating from the 1920′s. Actually I don’t know when the last time was that the kitchen was painted for sure, but I don’t think I’m exaggerating too much. Our Florida vacation is now only a memory, evidenced by our quickly fading tans, my dead house plants, and the sand in our suitcases. And photos of course.
