Fine Art

Look at these “paintings,” they are by Cayce Zavaglia. Done with with needle and thread they are  “renegade thread” because her stitches are not the ordinary embroidered stitches but rather a layering of stitches every which way, all kinds of lengths.

Another bit of art that I am crazy about is the duo work of C.S. Tarpley and Nathan Youngblood. The work is their combined skills of glass work and electroformed copper.

I saw their work in Santa Fe in 2007 and I’ve never forgotten it. Their collaboration on pieces is lightyears better than their individual works.

Work in progress.

Lol! That’s kind of a back-handed compliment. Impeccable craftsmanship, though. Where do they show?

Nathan Youngblood has work at King Galleries of Scottsdale
