This is truly a great CD.
If you don’t have this CD, you should. The songs are beautifully done by three very talented girls from Canada who sing harmony in these folksy, bluegrassy songs. My two most favorite on the whole disc are Long Time Traveller and The Devil’s Paintbrush Road.
I’m planning on getting 40 Days but I have to say I think this is their best. Amazon has all their CD’s with listening clips should you want to sample the music.
Wailin Jennys are one of my favorite bands. They make up most of my playlist titled “pie baking on a sunday afternoon” I think 40 days is another great CD some of the favorites from that album are One Voice, Beautiful Dawn, and Heaven When We’re Home. So glad to find other people who love them!

Would it ruin Wailin’ Jennys’ reputation to say they sound like the Dixie Chicks back in their good days and without quite the country twangy feel?
This Wailin’ Jennys CD does not have a bad song on it!
I just saw these ladies perform in Mt. Vernon last weekend. Very beautiful!
