I have so few magazine subscriptions, that I cherish the ones that do show up in my mail box. Then I save them for as long as I can before I tear into them. When Domino Magazine went belly up (I’m still sad about it!) Lucky Magazine started coming as a replacement, but I usually end up throwing it out after one quick sitting. I think the whole thing is like one huge advertisment…bor–ing!
I’ve recently started looking for Thought Meadow in the mail box. It’s “a Christian magazine produced by women for the edification of souls and sharpening of minds.”
It’s a new magazine and comes out four times a year, each issue has a intriguing topic– previous ones were guilt and curiosity and the articles range from poetry to lengthier feature stories.
I’ve loved it, and I think you might too.
