We were packed the night before and ready to leave early in the morning. Our phone rang at 6:30 AM and I thought, “What! Meghan and Eric are already to go!?” Nope, Meghan was calling to say that Eric had been in urgent care with an infected foot and it was not doing well. Funny thing was that in looking forward to this wedding we all thought since Meghan would be due to have her little baby boy in three weeks, that she would be the limiting factor in them going and NO, it was to be Eric!
Andrew and I decided we would take the grandkids any way. Anwyn had been so anxious to wear the dress that Aunt Taite had worn in Erin’s wedding that we just had to take them with us. In the end though, they all came. Eric too. And it was a celebration not to be missed!

As the wedding time drew near the rain clouds gathered in full force. Just as Jarrett was beginning the ceremony with his bagpipes, the thunder sounded and it was awesome, bagpipes, an ominous sky and thunder; like God saying “Sit up and take notice!”
The wedding was gorgeous and there was a bit of rain, but I was soooo thrilled to be family and be a mere spectator of this beautiful evening that I was giddy with delight! The rain kept the dust down and the cool weather made the dancing imperative.
Never say die Becky, mother of the bride, managed a full blown meal the next day at their gorgeous house. The back drop on the deck so incredible it looked like one of those scenes they let you choose from for a background in a photography studio. And the weather was spectacular.

Terri…one never knows from where their “gifts” of the day are going to come. What a treat to see the pictures and read your dialogue of Anna and Henry’s day. I thought about them often on Saturday. Thanks for sharing!!! I’m Becky’s cousin reading from the distant lands of Florida.
Terri….forgive the multiple entries….it didn’t seem to be going thru….sorry.
I figured you were having a computer glitch.
Teri,
Thanks so much for posting. Your family is a great blessing to us and it wouldn’t have been “a wedding” without you. Who’s next?
Do you know!?
