Marinading the leg of lamb

Eric found a Chianti to go with the lamb which was very good

Garlic rosemary potatoes

I used five pounds of strawberries in a tart and the four of us managed to eat all of it.

Here is our Easter dinner.
We owed this Easter dinner to the car tires. Eric went to Costco to get a new set of car tires and having a hour to wait decided to go shopping. I had asked if he would pick up some mixed greens for me, but if Eric does the grocery shopping he is always bound to come home with better food than I would have hence the leg of lamb, two pounds of asparagus, wine, and oh yes don’t forget the mixed greens.
Having all this great food we thought we couldn’t eat it all ourselves so it was a great excuse to have some friends over. Ben and Emeth came over with their two kids and Illy espresso machine so we had some great coffee and strawberry tart to top off the evening.

Meghan, I’d love to have your marinade recipe. We too had lamb for Easter, but had Lamb Marsala. I have some extra lamb, and would love to have a new recipe to use with it. Anwyn’s egg is beautiful.
your dad would be proud of you with that PINK meat!!
Meghan, some magazine should hire you to be their food stylist and photographer! Your shots are amazing!!!
ps– the destroyed chocolates at the photo shoot turned out after all, and very cute!
Meghan, that looks downright tastey. And, good job on the eggs!
