Poor Canon’s celebration with grandma and grandpa turned into an electrical party; grandpa installed a new light in the sitting area of the kitchen and then decided the light needed a dimmer and also, while we’re at it lets get brighter bulbs for the living room light. So a trip to Home Depot and then kill the breaker and put in a dimmer- the almond color, not the white. While that is being done we hear a loud “pop” in the living room and see that one of the light sconces has burst where the new and brighter (and hotter) bulbs were put. A little Gorilla Glue will fix that. All the while Canon is wondering if maybe he could go ahead and open his gifts and eat his birthday cake.
